JOB PURPOSE
This position is responsible for supporting the introduction campaign delivery and ensuring the routinisation of the new vaccine into the national immunisation program. The successful candidate will ensure efficient execution, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable integration of the new vaccination into routine immunisation programs.

RESPONSIBILITY
Introduction Campaign Delivery Support
- Assess the community’s current knowledge and perception of the new vaccine within the target population.
- Identify potential barriers and opportunities to improve communication.
- Support the delivery of quality community meetings and workshops to educate the public about the new vaccine and the benefits of vaccination.
- Support the creation of culturally appropriate and engaging content to raise awareness about the importance of the new vaccination.
Multi-Sectoral Coordination
- Support the coordination with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth, Ministry of Social Affairs, and other relevant ministries to ensure a unified approach.
- Hold regular meetings with representatives from each ministry to review progress, address challenges, and adjust strategies.
Routinization Support
- Assess the readiness status for successful integration of the new vaccine into the routine immunization schedule.
- Provide delivery support to implement the recommendations to ensure successful sustainability and routinization of the new vaccine.
QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE
- An advanced university degree (master’s or higher) in Public Health, Epidemiology, Public Administration, Social & Behavioral Sciences, Project Management (with a Health Focus), or other relevant majors.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in immunization, sexual, and reproductive health programs.
- Strong understanding of vaccine delivery systems, particularly HPV vaccination.
- In-depth knowledge of crafting communication plans for health campaigns.
- Experience working with government health departments, NGOs, and international organizations.
- Full proficiency in Frech; fluency in English is an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
