Djibouti
STEP 2.0 supported Djibouti's Ministry of Health, EPI and CAMME in training vaccine supply chain managers — with the added challenge of delivering an entirely French-language programme in a context where most existing training is in English.
Key Immunisation and Health System Challenges
Djibouti's vaccination supply chain leaders lacked sufficient support to drive change, innovation and continuous improvement. Most existing training programmes were in English, limiting access for Djiboutian professionals and hindering their ability to adopt best practices.
STEP 2.0 supported the Ministry of Health, EPI and the Central Procurement Agency for Medicines (CAMME) with a fully French-language experiential programme combining private-sector coaching with scenario-based transformation challenges.
