Responsibility
Dorothy supervises and controls all strategic and business aspects of the company in order to improve the company’s operation and guide it towards long-term success. Dorothy’s leadership helps to ensure that GaneshAID delivers measurable, cost-effective results. In her position, she develops business strategies and plans, and oversees all activities in disease prevention and health promotion, health supply chain, human resources and IT solutions for health to ensure that they produce the expected results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
Dorothy Leab is responsible for determining and implementing the strategic direction of GaneshAID. She oversees the overall operation and evaluates the success of the company in reaching its goals. In her position, she ensures that GaneshAID’s services and products are consistent with the overall strategy and mission, and that all services meet high-quality standards. Dorothy is also in charge of partnership building with key partners and stakeholders in public, NGO, and private sectors. She analyses and finds solutions to the company’s challenges.
Past experience
Before running GaneshAID, Dorothy managed various projects and teams for over 20 years and handled tasks in financing, planning, risk management, project monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.
Education
Dorothy holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Economics from the University of Paris XII in France.
She also received the 2014 Gates Vaccine Innovation Award in recognition of her engagement in EPIVAC, an on-the-job blended training program for district medical officers to improve immunization program performance in 11 Francophone African countries.
