Understanding the necessity and importance of public health innovations, especially in immunization, Mamadou joined GaneshAID as an Immunization Specialist/ Coordinator to contribute to the success of our immunization equity projects.
His time in GaneshAID time is estimated to be evenly divided between coordination/community of practice and research activities. He will also be facilitating the collaborative intelligence platform.
Prior to his position at GaneshAID, he used to work as as a Deputy Coordinator at the Mali National Eye Health Program. He was also an African Union volunteer for the Ebola virus disease response in Liberia and epidemiologist expert for the fight against COVID-19 and Ebola in Guinea Conakry. He also worked as a Medical Technical Director of a Community Health Center, and had many years of experience as a physician.
Mamadou holds a Doctorate in General Medicine, and a Master in Public Health from Bamako Point-G, Mali.
