With the desire to work in the social sector to make the world a better place, Mai found GaneshAID’s goals and missions match her career goal. Therefore, she decided to join the company as a Project Management Assistant.
As a Project Management Assistant who is dedicated to managing non-IT projects to maximum efficiency, Mai provides support to the Project Operation Manager to monitor project schedules and resources, liaising with all levels of internal staff and external stakeholders, keeping track of the progress of the project, which ensures all related parties were well informed of scope, milestones, and deliverables.
She has gained one year of experience in administration and finance while interning at Oxfam in Vietnam. During the internship, she gained skills directly applicable to the role of Project Management Assistant, such as meeting and event planning, as well as operations management. Mai also had experience in planning and conducting educational projects for students between the age of 8 to 15 as a Product Development Intern at a social enterprise called Sworld Vietnam. Her administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills have significantly improved over the course of her internship and have been demonstrated in all aspects of this internship role.
Mai holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Interpreting and Translating from Vietnam National University of Languages and International Studies, and a second Bachelor’s Degree in International Economics from the University of Economics and Business.
