DESCRIPTION DU POSTE
The Immunisation Specialist, under the guidance and supervision of Senior Health and Immunization System Strengthening Specialist, with the strategy costing and budgeting team will work closely with other project team members to provide technical support ensure satisfactory progress and quality of work GaneshAID (Benin).

- Office location: 5th Arrondissement, Littoral Department, Cotonou, Benin
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and local stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare providers, and partner organizations.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of the local environment, including but not limited to health system capabilities, socio-economic factors, and potential barriers to project implementation.
- Work alongside team members to co-facilitate ideation sessions.
- Plan and coordinate both in-person and virtual meetings and collaborative working sessions.
- Oversee and monitor the continuous involvement and engagement of local stakeholders throughout the Health System Strengthening (HSS3) and Cold Chain Equipment Optimization Platform (CCEOP) submission processes.
- Be stationed at the local EPI office, providing on-site support and ensuring that the program’s activities are closely aligned with the goals and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
- An advanced university degree (master’s or higher) in Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or other relevant disciplines.
- A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience at the national and international levels in planning, programming, implementation monitoring and evaluation of health/Immunization programmes.
- Developing country work experience or field work experience
- Experience in working with local stakeholders and in international organizations or in a multicultural environment, preferably with a health or development focus, is desired,
- Solid technical knowledge of immunization curricula, tools and resources,
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills,
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to appropriately prioritize competing tasks,
- Effective and efficient time management skills,
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic team environment with minimal supervision, anticipating needs and requests,
- Fluency in English and French.
