ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project aims to enhance strategic engagement and partnership-building within Brazil’s health and development landscape. The consultant will strengthen relationships with key government institutions, national stakeholders, and private-sector partners to advance shared public health priorities. Responsibilities include supporting high-level engagements, mapping and driving collaboration opportunities, and providing ongoing insights on political, policy, and funding developments relevant to the initiative’s goals.

Working Arrangement:

The work is remote, preferably with the consultant based in Brazil or close to Brazilian stakeholders, and includes travel as needed for meetings and events.

Project Duration:

The project is expected to run throughout 2025–2026, with the possibility of extension depending on needs and performance.

1.Team Leader / Senior Strategic Engagement Expert

    Role Purpose

    The Team Leader provides strategic oversight and leads engagement with Brazil’s Ministries, Congress, Fiocruz, and the private sector, ensuring the mission aligns with national priorities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Anchor donor’s relevance in the Brazilian context.
    • Lead engagement with Ministry of Health, Foreign Affairs, Finance, and Congress.
    • Oversee stakeholder mapping, engagement plans, and strategic advisory.
    • Represent consultancy in high-level dialogues and missions.
    • Guide preparation of communication materials and reports.
    • Ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables.

    Key Qualifications:

    • 12–15+ years of senior-level experience.
    • Proven experience with Brazilian federal ministries.
    • Deep understanding of political/institutional landscape.
    • Expertise in global health and diplomacy.
    • Strong negotiation and strategic leadership skills.
    • Fluent Portuguese (mandatory)

    2. Government Engagement Specialist

    Role Purpose

    Supports institutional engagement with federal agencies and legislative stakeholders to ensure policy alignment between GaneshAID, the donor organisation and Brazil.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and update government-focused stakeholder mapping.
    • Coordinate policy dialogues with key ministries.
    • Track political and policy developments.
    • Prepare documentation for official missions.
    • Advise on political risks and opportunities.

    Key Qualifications:

    • 7–10+ years of experience in government relations or public policy.
    • Experience engaging with Brazilian ministries.
    • Knowledge of health governance and policy-making.
    • Strong political analysis skills.
    • Fluent Portuguese (mandatory)
    • Excellent English (mandatory)

    3. Private Sector Mobilization Specialist

    Role Purpose

    Develops partnerships with Brazilian private-sector actors to advance CSR engagement, fundraising, and innovation collaborations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and assess CSR and fundraising opportunities.
    • Lead private sector engagement strategies.
    • Produce reports on partnership opportunities.
    • Coordinate private-sector involvement in missions and events.

    Key Qualifications:

    • 7–10+ years of experience in private sector engagement or CSR.
    • Understanding of Brazilian corporate environment.
    • Experience with CSR or social impact initiatives.
    • Fluent Portuguese (mandatory)
    • Excellent English (mandatory)

    4. Stakeholder Mapping & Political/Policy Analyst

    Role Purpose

    Provides analytical support through continuous monitoring of political, policy, and budget developments affecting immunization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead development of comprehensive stakeholder mapping.
    • Monitor political and policy trends.
    • Produce analytical briefs and reports.
    • Document meeting outcomes and follow-up actions.

    Key Qualifications:

    • 3–5+ years of policy research or political economy analysis experience.
    • Knowledge of Brazil’s health and budgeting systems.
    • Strong analytical writing skills.
    • Fluent Portuguese (mandatory)
    • Excellent English (mandatory)

    5. Strategic Communications Advisor

    Role Purpose

    Ensures high-quality communication outputs to support the donor’s messaging and visibility in Brazil.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop communication materials and talking points.
    • Support media engagement.
    • Ensure message alignment with donor’s priorities.
    • Prepare materials for high-level visits.

    Key Qualifications:

    • 5–7+ years of experience in communications.
    • Experience in public sector or global health communications.
    • Excellent writing and strategic messaging skills.
    • Fluent Portuguese (mandatory)
    • Excellent English (mandatory)

    6. Project Coordinator / Administrative Support

    Role Purpose

    Provides logistical and administrative support for efficient execution of project activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage scheduling, logistics, and documentation.
    • Support deliverable preparation.
    • Maintain project records.
    • Coordinate high-level events and missions.

    Key Qualifications:

    • 2–4+ years of administrative or coordination experience.
    • Strong organization and multitasking skills.
    • Fluent Portuguese (mandatory)
    • Excellent English (mandatory)

    NOTE

    The outcome of these recruitments will be determined following the approval of GaneshAID’s proposal.
