In today’s global health context, technical expertise alone is not enough to address the growing complexity of public health challenges. What is needed is a shared space where ideas can be exchanged, experiences reflected upon, and innovations tested and adapted in real time. At GaneshAID, we believe in the power of collective learning and its role in shaping impactful change on the ground.
To make this vision concrete, GaneshAID launched the KLIC Innovation e-Agora in December 2024. This recurring virtual forum was created to bring together professionals from across the public health ecosystem and foster meaningful dialogue rooted in real-world application. It has since evolved into a trusted platform, particularly among stakeholders in low- and middle-income countries

A Platform Grounded in Practice
In just eight sessions, the KLIC Innovation e-Agora has attracted over 444 participants from 65 countries. These numbers speak to a growing demand for inclusive, practice-oriented learning environments. The audience has included a broad mix of national and subnational actors, international organizations, and frontline professionals.
Each session is carefully designed to respond to current challenges in health systems. Rather than replicate existing webinar formats, GaneshAID focuses on content that brings innovation closer to implementation. The e-Agora has featured voices from WHO, UNICEF, Gavi, national Ministries of Health, regional experts, and NGOs. These contributors offer grounded perspectives based on lived experience in complex settings.
Topics have covered a wide range of issues, from digital microplanning and sustainable waste management to health workforce strategies and equity through data use. For instance, sessions on reaching zero-dose children and designing smart, people-centred health services have encouraged reflection on practical tools and how they can be adapted to diverse contexts.
Connecting Innovation with Local Realities
GaneshAID’s commitment goes beyond convening sessions. We actively ensure that innovation is connected to the realities faced by those working in the field. Presentations have demonstrated how digital tools and locally developed approaches can enhance service delivery and promote equity in immunization and broader health systems.
Kewal Prasad Bhandari, Secretary (Rtd.), Government of Nepal noted:
“I fully enjoyed all presentations and country experiences, digital solutions, and people’s efforts to make things happen on the ground. Storytelling from the host country Vietnam to Nigeria, Benin, Pakistan, and others provided me with greater knowledge in this field. I look forward to the next session.”
These exchanges reflect the e-Agora’s core value: learning together through mutual respect and shared experience.
Who Is It For?
The KLIC Innovation e-Agora is designed for a wide community of public health actors. This includes frontline workers, technical officers, policymakers, NGO leaders, and young professionals eager to contribute to system transformation. Whether you are managing a national programme or leading a district-level intervention, you are welcome in this space—and you have something valuable to contribute.
What Makes the e-Agora Different?
The KLIC Innovation e-Agora is not a conventional webinar series. It is a learning platform that brings global knowledge closer to local needs. Every session is moderated to promote engagement and critical thinking. Themes are chosen based on ongoing challenges in low-resource settings, where innovation must be actionable and cost-effective.
The forum emphasizes interaction and peer-to-peer learning. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, share lessons, and offer new perspectives. In doing so, the e-Agora helps build bridges across geographies and technical silos.

A Long-Term Investment in System Resilience
Through the KLIC Innovation e-Agora, GaneshAID affirms its role as a catalyst for collective learning and applied innovation. We believe that inclusive dialogue and context-driven solutions are essential to building resilient and equitable health systems.
Our long-term vision is to ensure that promising ideas do not remain isolated. Instead, they must be shared, tested, and adapted to meet the realities of those delivering care in the most challenging settings.
“Each KLIC Innovation e-Agora reflects our commitment to shaping a global dialogue around public health innovation. At GaneshAID, we view this initiative not as a series of events, but as a strategic effort to connect knowledge with those working at the frontlines. It is our responsibility to ensure that innovation is not kept in silos, but translated into shared learning and real-world solutions.”
